2023 Annual Diggers and Duffers Tournament
28th Annual Golf Tournament
Tradition
The Annual Diggers & Duffers Golf Tournament is an ongoing tradition for the University of Arizona's SME Student Chapter and acts as our primary fundraiser. The proceeds from this tournament are used to directly help student members experience meaningful professional and educational opportunities. These include sending students to MINEXCHANGE in Phoenix, the Intercollegiate Mining Games in Montana, and on field trips to mine sites and other educational locations.

27th Annual Golf Tournament
Throughout the past few years, we have had a dramatic membership and participation in our SME Chapter and department. Hosting our annual golf tournament each year, we were even able to send over ___ students to MINEXCHANGE in Denver, Colorado last year! We are hoping to send even more students this year to the 2024 MINEXCHANGE conference in Phoenix, Arizona - our beautiful home state!
